We invite you to support Project Vision Hawai‘i and our seventh annual Eye Ball by purchasing a table or making a prize donation for our upcoming event. Join us as we bring our friends together to raise funds to increase access to health and human services for the people of Hawai‘i.
The Eye Ball will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, 5:00 pm, at Ko‘olau Ballrooms. Enjoy an evening with a delicious buffet dinner, blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, live entertainment, lucky drawing prizes, and more!
Project Vision Hawai‘i provides health and human services, targeting communities with access to care issues such as lack of insurance, geographic challenges, cultural barriers, and limited or no income. Our success in serving vulnerable populations comes largely because of two unique strategies: 1) we bring services directly to access-challenged communities; and 2) participants are never turned away because of their inability to pay.
Last year, Project Vision Hawai‘i accomplished great things, thanks to the generous donations from businesses and families in our community. As of recent, we:
• Administered over 52,000 COVID tests and 120,000 vaccinations to vulnerable populations and service providers
• Vision screened public school children throughout Hawai‘i, reaching more than 30,000 students and providing 4,000 free prescription glasses
• Enrolled more than 500 residents in applying for food stamps
• Provided over 180 free cataract surgeries to patients who are underinsured or uninsured
• Provided over 7,000 hot, private showers to people experiencing homelessness
Through your support, we can continue to expand our preventive health services, community outreach, screenings, and more to vulnerable populations throughout Hawai‘i. We would truly be grateful if you would join us at The Eye Ball.
Our signature event, The Eye Ball, is an annual fundraiser for Project Vision Hawai‘i to raise funds to continue our mission of increasing access to health and human services for the people of Hawai‘i, especially our most vulnerable populations. The funds raised at the event go directly towards staffing, supplies, and other related expenses which allow our teams to bring services directly to access-challenged communities across the state.
